Gail Stone, Senior General Manager at Bloomfield Care Centre in Paulton, pledged to walk 10,000 steps a day during the month of August, to raise funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Walking 10,000 steps was easier to do than I expected, especially as I live in Bristol and the Docks was an ideal place to pace”.
Dorothy, a resident at the home, is looking forward to enjoying the Macmillan coffee morning, which takes place at Bloomfield on September 24th from 10 am.
She said: “I love baking and cake decorating, and I’m delighted to be able to help raise funds for the charity which gives me something worthwhile to do”.
