On Saturday, 23rd September, Mrs Jane Parsons of Westfield, was inducted as the new Bristol District President of Methodist Women in Britain.

The Bristol District covers most of the counties of Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the whole of Bristol.

The ceremony was conducted by the Revd Dr Jonathan Pye, the Chairman of the Bristol Methodist District, and took place at Southdown Methodist Church Centre, Bath, where Jane had worked for the Church for over twenty years until her retirement last year.
