The first walk in the series of the Somer Valley Rambers’ Monday walks took place in October and started from the Village Hall in Clutton.
On a fine bright morning, nine walkers, including a new member, met for a circular walk of seven miles to the Hinton Blewitt area. Those taking part enjoyed walking part of the Limestone Link path with fine views of the Cam Valley, then walking down Nanny Hurn’s Lane to the Cameley road, onto Hinton Blewitt and a coffee stop, passing through Hollow Marshes Nature Reserve and onto Temple Cloud before returning to the starting point.
It was a lovely addition to our walks programme and perhaps you would like to join us on our November one, see the details below along with our usual Wednesday and Sunday walks.
