The Community Food Network, which featured in The Journal last month, has received a very generous donation following publication of the article.

The volunteers, who are co-ordinating care bags of food and household supplies for local people in need on a weekly basis, were looking to raise £500 to keep the cause going. One very kind donor saw the amount that was left to raise, £310, and donated it in a lump sum.
