Local food solutions business, L&F Jones, based in Midsomer Norton, have become a Corporate Partner of The Forever Friends Appeal having raised over £15,000 in support of the Cancer Care Campaign.
L&F Jones selected The Forever Friends Appeal as their chosen charity in 2015 and to thank them for all their hard work and support over the past year, the Appeal presented the company with a commemorative Corporate Partner plaque to display in their office. As a Corporate Partner for the Cancer Care Campaign, L&F Jones will receive a naming opportunity within the pioneering new Cancer Centre, a lasting acknowledgement of all their support.
Throughout 2015, L&F Jones’ staff organised events in support of The Forever Friends Appeal such as a bingo night, 5k fun run and golf day. The year’s fundraising culminated in a glamorous Gala Dinner event at the Marriott in Bristol with special guests, Paul Martin (from BBC’s Flog It!) and Molotov Jukebox. Customers, suppliers, staff and guests all came together for a night of fun and fundraising for the Appeal, with a round of heads and tails, a raffle and luxury auction hosted by Paul Martin. The Gala alone raised over £5,000, helping L&F Jones achieve an amazing target of £15,000 for the RUH Cancer Care Campaign.
