Local charity, We Hear You, who work across B&NES, Somerset and Wiltshire to support those affected by cancer and life threatening conditions have launched a World Book Day competition to inspire young people to get creative.

Communications Officer, Lucy McMahon, says: “Although things are looking up, the schools will sadly not be open in time for World Book Day, one of our favourite days of the year. So we thought we’d invite our talented local youngsters to entertain us with a fun competition.

“It’s a very flexible brief, the only provison is that it’s inspired by a book.”

“Send us a photo of your creation to [email protected] by 4th March, with a little note to tell us which book inspired you and why. We’ll announce the winners the following week.

“There are two age categories, 0 to 8 years and 9 years and older.
