Coleford Parish Council and Bishop Henderson School have joined forces to fight the ‘Dog Poo plague’ in the village.

Alan Townsend, Vice Chair of Coleford Parish Council, said: “Apart from on our pavements, we face the menace in our playing fields – having to clear the pitch before football, and on our rural footpaths, despite the placing of poo bins in strategic spots.

“The School has just run a competition sponsored by the Parish Council to produce the most hard hitting posters to be displayed around the village.

“Together we can get the message across and beat this mess!”
