Radstock Town Council is proud to launch its fourth Making a Difference Award, which will continue to acknowledge and recognise the huge contributions many individuals make to the well-being and benefit of Radstock.
This year will see the launch of a second Youth Award, which aims to honour a superstar in the neighbourhood under the age of 25. This individual will have shown
dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to improving the community, in particular the development and support of young people.
There are many individuals both young and old, who work tirelessly in the community, making a positive difference through charity work, fundraising, being a good neighbour, caring for others or simply dedicated involvement with the life of the town. The Council is asking people to think of who they know that makes a difference and send in a nomination.
The winner will be announced at a special evening awards ceremony to be held on Thursday, 13th October, when all nominees will be invited to attend, along with the
individuals who nominated them. Mike Boulton, Chair of Radstock Town Council, said: “The Council is delighted to continue to recognise the huge contributions local people make in our community, and to extend the award to younger members of our town. I encourage you to make your nomination to recognise these good people.”
The closing date for nominations is Thursday, 22nd September. For an application form, contact: 01761 437963 or email: [email protected]
