At our May meeting, we learned how to make a hand tied bouquet and also held a plant sale.

Then on a glorious June evening, we enjoyed a visit to the gardens at Milton Lodge.

This month, we are looking forward to hearing Brian Jaques talk on plant names. As he will explain, plant names can vary through out the country, but each plant has to have a scientific world wide name. Brian invites us to “participate in lifting the veil on Latin names” and promises smiles along the way.

Brian will also be bringing some of his exotic plants for sale!

Make a date in your diary for Wednesday, 20th July.

We meet at the Village Hall, Green Street, Ston Easton. BA3 4DA.

The hall is open from 7pm and the talk starts at 7.30pm.

A warm welcome awaits members and visitors alike. Gillian Hipwood
