Mendip's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm October 16 to 6am October 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Podimore to Sparkford lane closure and traffic signals for Sparkford to Ilchester improvement scheme.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A36, from 10pm October 20 to 6am October 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 Standerwick traffic lights for installation of bat boxes in preparation to main structure repairs.
• A36, from 9am October 27 to 3pm October 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions Beckington mobile lane closure for drainage.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
