Did you know Simon Guillebaud MBE is the next speaker at the MenUnited Curry Night?

MenUnited Curry Nights are becoming renowned for of- fering a men’s quality night out socialising with friends, hav- ing a great choice of homemade food and remarkable, light-hearted, thought provoking speakers.

The next Curry Night this Saturday, 7th March is no ex- ception!

Simon Guillebaud is an author, a large venue speaker of note, social entrepreneur, family man, cyclist and charity founder. He had a very clear call to Burundi in 1999, when it was regarded as the most dangerous country on earth.

Having unexpectedly survived seven years of genocide and civil war, he set up GLO with the vision to transform Burundi and beyond through holistic mission, working with gifted local leaders of integrity.

Now married with three young children, he and his wife Lizzie have both been awarded an MBE for their services to Burundi.

Last autumn, MenUnited decided to change their Mid- somer Norton venue to St Nicholas’ Church Centre, Church Street, Radstock. Since then the Curry Nights have grown. The venue is great for this event and a natural, warm wel- coming atmosphere is always on offer, along with no charge for anyone who is coming to join us for the first time. Regu- lars pay a charge for the meal.

To choose your food for the evening, visit: BA3- MenUnited.net, then hit the ‘Curry Night’ button to find out more, choose your meal and book-in.

Also worth noting, ‘Who Let The Dads Out?’, another MenUnited initiative, is now on the second Saturday of the month between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., with the next meeting on Saturday, 14th March.

Again, details are on the website. If you didn’t know, this is a free play activity for men with their children, ages between 0 – 12 years. The venue is the Bright Start Children’s Centre, Radstock. This centre has lots of toys and stuff to do! Hot butties and children’s snacks are always freely given.

MenUnited – Encouraging men to get the best out of life! This active men’s group is made up of men from many of the Churches in the BA3 postal area. Please call David if you would like to know more: 01373 812938
