Were you a Midsomer Norton Grammar School pupil in the 40’s, 50s and early 60s? If you were, why not come along to the Midsomer Norton Grammar School 2022 Reunion.
The Grammar School was opened in 1921 and closed in 1971 to become a comprehensive school.
The reunions began in 2004 and have continued more or less every year. After the COVID break, I am organising a reunion for past pupils and staff of the school, I hope you will be interested in coming along to the next ‘Reunion of Pupils’, hopefully staff will join us from those years too.
The 2022 reunion is being held on Saturday, 15th October, at the Old Down Inn, Emborough, Radstock BA3 4SA, starting at noon with a sit down meal. The menu and cost will be available beforehand to all who book a place.
The Old Down Inn can also provide accommodation on a B&B basis for those who are travelling from afar, please ring direct on: 01761 232398 to enquire.
The landlady has kindly agreed to keep the premises open for the afternoon so we don’t have to rush away at closing time.
If you would like to book a place, maybe you know of friends from your school days who would also like to come, please contact me, Trevor Dury, by email, at [email protected].
I look forward to hearing from you all.
