The Christmas lights are shining along the High Street and a twenty foot Norway Spruce Christmas Tree is now lit in the Hollies Garden with a picket fence around it, constructed by our Town Warden Dave Paisey.
The tree was sponsored by Backhouse Housing and the Town Council are very grateful for their generosity. We have received lots of compliments for the lovely tree with its twinkly lights, and are delighted with this addition to our wintery High Street. The Town Council encourage residents to support their High Street and shop local this Christmas, and hope that the tree and lights add a bit of sparkle to their shopping.
In place of a light switch on, event Councillors voted to make a donation towards the Winter Warmers project being run by Midsomer Norton Community Trust from November through to February.
