Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving two cars in Chewton Mendip.

The incident took place between Bathway and Red Quar in Torhole Bottom at 10.20 p.m. on Thursday, 19th April.

A man in his 20s, who was driving one of the cars, has sadly died as a result of the road traffic collision.

It is possible that a white Mercedes may have been travelling along the road before the collision took place.
