Seven brilliant acts, all with local links, will be playing between 1.30pm and 8.30pm, at Midsomer Norton Town Park, as part of the four day celebrations.

Bath resident, James Harriman, starts proceedings, followed by Beatles tribute band ‘All You Need is the Beatles’, both guaranteed to get the audience singing along.

Local residents, The Davenports, will inject some rock and blues into the event, followed by the “West Country gumbo” of Al O’Kane and his band.

Tom Corneill makes a welcome return to the town, with his new group ‘The Young Martyrs’, followed by the ever-popular Sam Evans and his band Verdisa.

Bringing the event to a close with classic soul and blues songs are ‘The Honky Tonks’.

There will be locally made cider and ale, soft drinks and food to purchase, though people can also bring picnics.

The event is organised by Midsomer Norton Community Trust with the support of Midsomer Norton Town Council. Martyn Plant
