One person, a Ms J King, has been very busy identifying possible sites for travellers. She has suggested fourteen to B&NES, over half the total of new

sites identified during the public consultation period.

B&NES Councillor, Eleanor Jackson, Labour, Radstock, has identified four. Normally, with a controversial issue like this, Councillors would be suggesting sites outside their own ward boundaries, but in a move which shows a high-level of personal integrity, she has, according to the Council, put forwad three within the Radstock Ward, one of which, Clandown Rec., has yet to be ruled out by officials. The new sites are listed below, those marked not available are unlikely to be seriously investigated.
