Bath and North East Somerset Council is encouraging local people to remember to recycle their extra waste.
Households are recycling more at home than ever before – for three-quarters of us in the UK, recycling is now a way of life. And the great news is that last year, we recycled over 52% of household waste in Bath and North East Somerset.
There will be no waste or recycling collections on: Tuesday, 1st January – next collection day will be on Saturday, 5th January 2013.
There are no garden waste and Christmas tree collections for two weeks from Monday, 24th December. Normal fortnightly collections will begin again on Monday, 7th January 2013.
Usual winter opening times for Recyling Centres from November to the end of March are: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 4.15 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. – 3.45 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Centres will be closed on Tuesday, 1st January 2013.
