Due to bad weather conditions during June and July, several planned evening visits were either cancelled or curtailed. Club members went in search of photographs concerning the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, partly for posterity and also for a competition to be held at a later date. A trip to Bath was arranged but was rather disappointing and a trip to Mells was cancelled. However, there were plenty of local events to get involved with during the celebrations so it is anticipated that members will produce some memorable photographs to show at the Annual Exhibition to be held in October.
