Last week, Cassie Clayton and Ophelia McCluskey Gahan of Midsomer Norton took it upon themselves to clear the area of its litter as they were “tired of seeing it”.

The girls hope their efforts will help to inspire others to keep the streets of Midsomer Norton clean.

The Town Council also run voluntary clean-up events from time to time and ask for litter ‘hotspots’ to be reported so efforts can be concentrated there.
