Timsbury Natural History Group’s first Indoor Meeting of the new decade will see Andy Davis and John Aldridge revealing details of their journeying around China; their photographic tour will doubtless include the adorable Pandas. The Meeting takes place on Monday, 20th January at 7.30 p.m. in the Conygre Hall.

As usual, the meeting will open with ‘Observations’ and what we have already seen recently, but may I remind you that the RSPB will be conducting a Big Garden Bird Watch over the following weekend between the 25th and 27th January. You can register online at their website to partake, the commitment takes only one hour of your time and is what is viewed from the comfort of your own home in your own garden.

Our Field Trip on Saturday, 25th January will see us making a return visit to the Newport Wetlands to see the overwintering wildfowl as well as the residents.

The walkways are well maintained, as are the café, and RSPB Shop. We will meet in the car park at 10.30 a.m. Wrap up warm – the adjacent Bristol Channel can be windy!
