Radstock Town Council is expecting a new lease proposal from B&NES Council next month as it moves to take on the Tom Huyton playpark .

Negotiations are currently ongoing as to which party would be responsible for maintenance of particular areas – it is expected that B&NES will retain looking after structures (such as bridges) and trees.

Councillors briefly discussed future aspirations for the site to tie in with the popular cyclepath links which are

bringing visitors in to the town.
