Paulton’s Labour Councillors John Bull and Liz Hardman are delighted at the announcement that the Post Ofice in the village (closed since last March) is to re-open in the Paulton News shop, on Monday, 23rd October.
The councillors are urging all residents to respond to the official consultation on the move, which closes on Tuesday, 3rd October.
Cllr John Bull said: “We believe the new location will be popular because there is level access, with good parking in the heart of the village and near other shops.”
Cllr Liz Hardman added: “This proposal gives us a chance to restore a much-missed facility.”
