Each week during Lent the stark wooden cross which was once our Christmas tree, was used to symbolise the events leading up to Good Friday and the crucifixion of Jesus.
On Easter Sunday the cross was transformed and decorated with beautiful posies of flowers to represent the glory of the resurrection and that Jesus had indeed arisen from the dead!
Our Lent course ‘Come & See’ will continue this Thursday 20th April at 7pm.
Rev Martin Slocombe will lead our morning worship on Sunday 23rd April commencing at 10.30am.
