On Saturday, 10th November, local residents are invited to attend a WWI Centenary Event, taking place at the Memorial Park, Paulton. Paulton Parish Council, The Natural Theatre Company and many local community groups will be providing an array of interactive activities.
There will be bell tents, wartime characters in costume, a field hospital and trench-building with Bath College.
Hot food will be available, along with wartime cakes and refreshments.
Take part in finishing off the Somer Valley Tapestry, search historic archives for family members, or enjoy the pottery displays. This will be a family-friendly event where everyone can be involved, and entry is free.
