Spring has been busy for the Norton Radstock Photographic Society. The Tri-battle with the two Frome clubs was a very enjoyable evening. The standard of photography was high and Norton Radstock finished second.
During April, presentations were given by the club’s Audio Visual group, which highlighted a variety of subjects and showed how much they had improved their techniques. This group meet on Mondays at the clubhouse.
Also during April, members Janice Cuer and Jane Richardson entertained with the various places they had been throughout the year.
A Few of our Favourite Things was the title of Clive and Joan Rathband’s presentation. They not only showed their stunning wildlife pictures, taken mostly in Namibia, they brought along the equipment that they use to achieve the results. They
answered questions about every aspect of their work which was greatly appreciated.

The next meeting is a discussion/critique evening in the clubhouse. This will be the last meeting until September since the club will not be meeting through the summer. However, they will be showing their work at the Town Fair on 9th July. We have speakers, Peter Weaver and Tony and Jenny Byram in October. New members are always welcome with assistance and encouragement freely given.
