Two hundred Midsomer Norton households will be receiving a pilot questionnaire on Friday, 9th August as part of the preparations for the town's first Community Planning Survey.
The aim of the pilot is to iron out any technical issues with the questionnaire, in advance of a final survey going to all 5,500 plus households in the town in October this year, enabling everyone to have their say on all aspects of the town and our community.
Once residents' comments have been collated from the full survey in the Autumn, it will be possible to create a comprehensive plan to guide Town Council programmes in Midsomer Norton, as well as wider policy development by B&NES Council.
The survey is being carried out by the Midsomer Norton Forum, on behalf of the Midsomer Norton Town Council. The Forum is an independent team representing all community groups of Midsomer Norton, who have generously given their help in developing this questionnaire.
"We would particularly ask people receiving the pilot questionnaire to take time to complete and return it by the deadline of Tuesday, 27th August, so that we can ensure that the full survey later this year is effective in gathering everyone's views," said Jenny Hillman, Chair of the Midsomer Norton Forum.
Anyone who needs assistance completing the survey, or has any questions, can contact the Midsomer Norton Town Clerk on: 01761 418701 or visit: http://www.midsomernortontowncouncil.co.uk">www.midsomernortontowncouncil.co.uk
