Midsomer Norton Town Council is delighted to be supporting the Outfield Festival again this year through a £2,000 sponsorship grant.

Now in its second year, the Outfield Festival hopes to be the biggest event in the local calendar attracting people from all over the country to see headliners, Scouting for Girls supported by Mesh, Irie Fire, Gabriel Templar and more.

The hugely successful 2019 Outfield Festival also received a sponsorship grant from the town council.

“We know how much work the volunteers put into running this huge event which benefits the cricket club and the wider community,” said Deputy Mayor, Gordon Mackay. “‘It’s great the council can show our support again and we wish the festival every success.’

Matt Dando, Outfield lead organiser and owner of local business, MCM Garage, said: “We’re very grateful for the continued support of the town council which makes a real difference to us and hope we can find ways to work together in the future.”

Featuring a Family Zone, Silent Disco, crafts and under-5s Soft Play, Outfield Festival will be held on 28th August. Tickets are available from their website - outfieldfestival.co.uk
