Radstock Town Council has taken part in its first Cupcake Day, the national fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society, as part of its work as a dementia-friendly town.
Held at and supported by Trinity Methodist Church, Radstock, huge donations of cakes and sandwiches saw the total raised on the day standing at £200, which will go directly to the charity for its work. Radstock Town Council hopes to run the fundraising event again next year.
