A special film afternoon for children, alongside an evening film for parents, has raised an incredible £2,639.59 for three-year-old Issy, to help buy her a new wheelchair.

Family and friends held the event at Prattens Social Club last Saturday and were amazed by the response. Issy has SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which makes her muscles weaken and causes problems with movement. There is no cure, and her new wheelchair and specialised electric equipment will cost £20,000.

Those that went along were treated to a showing of Moana and Grease.

Mardons Social Club take up the fundraising baton this weekend, with a Race Night on Friday, 29th September, 7.30 p.m. for 8 p.m. start.

Everyone welcome.
