Bank Holiday Monday saw superheroes descend on the Railway, Radstock, for the annual Railway Rocks event – which this year, raised over a thousand pounds for Lucia Robinson’s charity, Go Blue.

One of the event’s organisers, Joanne Cullen, told The Journal: “Everyone’s support and generosity, yet again, has been amazing.

“Band members, bar staff, raffle ticket sellers, Luckington Carnival Club, local businesses and people who donated raffle prizes and everyone who came along on the day; we are very grateful.

“All these wonderful people helped to raise £1,053.44 for Lucia’s charity.

“Railway Rocks is a great day to keep Lucia’s wishes going. Lucia wanted to help others that are in a situation she was once in, and I know the money raised will do just that.”
