The eighth annual Gerald Sage Memorial Tractor Run will take place this Saturday, 29th June as part of a weekend of fundraising for charity.

His son, Buster, said: “We have held this event for the past eight years to remember him and raise money for charity.

“We have raised about £4,500 for various charities. This year, we are supporting the Great Western Air Ambulance.”

The weekend starts with a collective auction from 6.30 p.m. on Friday evening in Cameley. The tractor run starts at 10.30 a.m. with the gates opening at 9 a.m. There will be entertainment on the Saturday evening with Mustang Sally and DJ Dr Love, starting at 7 p.m. All events at James’ Brake, Cameley.

Gerald was a local man who lived all his life in Temple Cloud, who loved his vintage tractors and was a member of the North Somerset Tractor Club.
