The Midsomer Choral Society is a 30-strong choir that sings a wide range of music, performing several times per year in the Somer Valley. Recent productions have included Mozart’s Requiem in Midsomer Norton and Handel’s highly acclaimed opera,
Acis and Galatea in Victoria Hall, Radstock.
Rehearsals commence on Sunday, 4th September in St John’s Church Hall, Midsomer Norton, at 6.45 p.m. This term we are singing Purcell’s Ode on St Cecilia’s Day, the beautiful motet, Jehovah quam multi sunt and Finzi’s masterpiece, Lo! The Full, Final Sacrifice.
