A special event to remember 1917 through letters, poems and music is to be hosted by the Bath Poetry Café group.
‘Voices 1917: Returning we hear larks’ commemorates the fourth year of the First World War through the words of those who had first-hand experience of fighting on the front line.
Supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council as part of its World War I Centenary programme, ‘Voices 1917’ takes place on Monday, 6th November at 7.30 p.m. at the BRLSI in Queen Square, Bath. The event is free, but a contribution to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal is encouraged.
