There was much excitement on Tuesday lunchtime as residents, office workers and schoolchildren lined the streets to watch the Tour of Britain sweep its way through our streets in a flash of blue sirens,

colourful jerseys, frantic wheels and pedals.

It was all over very quickly, and riders flew through so quickly it was difficult to spot reigning Tour de France champion, Geraint Thomas and Giro d’Italia winner, Chris Froome, as they completed Stage Three of the race, which started and finished in Bristol. The tour finishes in London on Sunday.
