Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause severe delays – with motorists facing a wait of at least half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A36, from 6am March 1 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both direction Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights for carriageway works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A36, from 9pm June 23 to 6am June 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Brassknocker Hill, 4-way signals for electrical work.
• A36, from 8pm June 26 to 6am June 29, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): A36 both directions Warminster Road, Limpley Stoke at Scotland Rocks, carriageway closure between Church Lane and B3108 for carriageway renewal, southbound, diversion via - A36, A4, A350 and A361, northbound, diversion via - A361, A350 and A4.
• A36, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on July 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton, traffic lights for BT.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
