Drivers in and around Mendip will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 6am May 9 to 6am October 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Podimore lane closures/contraflow for Sparkford to Ilchester improvement scheme.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A36, from 7pm August 29 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Woolverton traffic lights installed by True Speed communications.
• A36, from 10am to 3pm on September 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 between Woolverton and Beckington traffic signals for signing works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
