Drivers in and around Mendip will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 9pm September 10 to 6am September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Podimore to Sparkford traffic signals for Sparkford to Ilchester improvement scheme.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A36, from 9am to 3pm on September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Warminster Road Roundabout to Bath Road Roundabout - two-Way signals for signs Erection.
• A36, from 7pm September 19 to 6am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 both directions Beckington (A361) to Farleigh (A366) carriageway closures for resurfacing, northbound, diversion via A361, A350 and A4, southbound, diversion via A366 and A361.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
