Drivers in and around Mendip will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm September 24 to 6am September 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Podimore to Sparkford lane closure and traffic signals for Sparkford to Ilchester improvement scheme.
• A36, from 7pm September 19 to 6am October 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 both directions Beckington (A361) to Farleigh (A366) carriageway closures for resurfacing, northbound, diversion via A361, A350 and A4, southbound, diversion via A366 and A361.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
