Calling all amateur musicians, ages 7-17, for the Rotary Young Musician Competition.

Designed to support and encourage the development of musical talent, the competition is open to all levels, grades and styles of young instrumentalists and vocalists. The organisers particularly welcome entrants from modern genres.

Competitors will be judged within the context of a live performance and can perform a work or selection of works of their own choice within a time not exceeding 10 minutes. Competitors may perform the same pieces/songs in each and/or subsequent stages of the competition. There are four stages of the contest: Local Heats, District Finals, Regional Finals and National Final with venues to be confirmed. The deadline for applicants is 31 December, 2022.
