The Branch are continuously looking for ways to raise money, so it can become better equipped to continue to raise money.
Currently, as we all know, the Royal British Legion has an annual major fund-raising event known to us all as “The Poppy Appeal”. But for the Branch to successfully raise money to support this, they have to look professional when facing the general public. This means having some basic equipment like tables, chairs, and other costs such as stationery, postage. This is paid for by the Branch and therefore we have a need to raise money separately.
Currently we have a “Branch Fund Raising Stall” which in “normal times” allows us to find the money by being present at events such as the Farmer’s Market.
We are always looking for additional items to draw in the public and we would like to ask if anyone can help by supplying knitted items such as small characters in uniform, knitted poppies or anything else which the public might like to buy. If you would like to help, please contact Midsomer Norton and Radstock Royal Bristish Legion branch.
