The Holy Trinity Church in Paulton are working on creating a safe environment for everyone.

They will be holding a special presentation evening on Tuesday, 11th October at 7.30pm at the Church to highlight the problems experienced by allergy and asthma sufferers.

According to Allergy UK in 2008 there were 41 million people in the UK who had one or more allergic conditions.

The figures have been rapidly rising, especially among younger adults and children with a well over a 600% increase in hospital admissions.

The presenters will talk about allergies in general, share experience of anaphylaxis (severe reactions) and endeavour to explain how simple behaviour changes by all can help these sufferers.

At Holy Trinity we want to ensure that our actions never inadvertently cause harm to another individual. There will also be information on life saving initiatives and the opportunity to learn how to use an epi pen.

Questions will be welcome at the end of the presentation. Everyone with an interest is invited.
