Cinema returns to Midsomer Norton Town Hall on Saturday 28th October with a blockbuster double bill. First up is The Smurfs: The Lost Village at 2.30 p.m., followed by Going In Style at 7.30 p.m.
The Smurfs: The Lost Village is a fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs.
A mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest, filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard, Gargamel, does.
Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!
In the evening, Oscar winners, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin team up as lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al in Zach Braff’s comedy, Going In Style. It follows three retired friends who decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives, when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty.
Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.
All screenings feature cinema quality HD projection on the big screen with surround sound and comfy cinema seating. Refreshments are available at all screenings from the fully licensed Sarah Ann Bar. Tickets can be bought at: www.ticketsource.co.uk/mnct or by phoning: 01761 419133.
