A CARE home in Somerset has been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating for health and safety following a rigorous inspection by its healthcare group.
Crandon Springs Care Home in Wells, which is part of the Barchester Healthcare group, earned this recognition thanks to the hard work and dedication of its team in keeping residents and staff safe and well cared for.
This achievement aligns with Barchester Healthcare's consistent recognition in health and safety excellence. The group has been honoured with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Healthcare Sector Award for six consecutive years, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to best practices in the sector.
Crandon Springs Care Home officially opened its doors in early 2021. As a newly built facility, it was designed to offer high-quality residential, dementia, and respite care for older individuals. The home features 64 private, en-suite rooms designed for comfort and privacy, many with patio doors leading to gardens or pleasant views. Crandon Springs aims to provide a warm, friendly environment where residents receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.
