Westfield Ladies Choir, which has been entertaining audiences in the local area for over seventy years, have decided to brush up our image with a new name, ‘Westfield Voices’.

Thanks to a grant from Radstock and Westfield Big Local, we have also been able to invest in recording equipment to enable us to sing more easily for out-of-doors events, and also manage our rehearsals when our accompanist is not available.

But we have not forgotten our old members, and during June we were delighted to sing for our Honorary President, Muriel Dunford, at Coombe Lea, for her 101st Birthday. We believe singing keeps you young, and this is certainly the case for Muriel.

Our first concert as Westfield Voices will be at St Peter’s Church, Westfield, on Saturday, 28th July, where we shall be joined by our good friends, Up Front and Casual.
