A film afternoon with a screening of Moana will be taking place at Prattens Social Club, Westfield on Saturday, 23rd September to help raise money for three-year-old local girl, Issy, who has a rare, genetic life-limiting condition.

Issy has SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which makes the muscles weaker and causes problems with movement. There is currently no cure.

To help her remain as independent as possible, Issy’s family and friends are trying to raise £20,000 for a specialised electric wheelchair and equipment.

A ticket to the film showing for children and their families includes a drink and a treat.

There will be tea, coffee and cake available on the day to purchase and a children’s raffle will also be taking place – so make sure you bring some pennies! The film begins at 2 p.m, with a visit from Snow White and Elsa planned.

There will also be a film showing for parents at 7.30 p.m. of Grease, with a bar available on the night.

Tickets can be purchased for the events at: www.buytickets.at/issyfundraising or call Liz on: 07878 252151.
