Stoke St Michael Primary and Pre-school PTA held their annual Summer Fair on Saturday, 6th July.

This year, the school were honoured to host Michael Eavis, fresh from Glastonbury Festival, to officially open the fair.

Michael judged the children’s competitions – a miniature garden won for Megan Clarke and an animal made from recycled materials won for Lola Baker – before visiting the many stalls and activities that were on offer.

The weather stayed sunny for the afternoon and the crowd were entertained by the the Mendip Brass Band.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Thank you to everyone who came to support and take part in the fair, also to the companies and individuals who donated raffle prizes.”
