SWALLOW Charity is delighted to have received over £430 from a quiz night in Stratton on the Fosse Village Hall organised by Rachel Broadway.

The event was a sell-out and great fun was had. The quiz was hard- fought and quizzing brains were fed with a lovely supper.

Bev Craney, SWALLOW’s CEO who attended the night said: “There is always such a lovely atmosphere at the hall and the quiz was challenging but enjoyable. Thank you so much to everyone who helped to make the evening so entertaining and for raising such valuable funds.”

The money will be put to very good use supporting local teenagers and adults with learning disabilities to live life to the full.

SWALLOW Charity was established in 1993 in response to local people with learning disabilities wanting more choice about how they lived their lives.

Since then, the organisation has grown immensely, offering a wide range of services and now supports more than 150 teenagers and adults in Bath and North East Somerset and remains user led.
