Then the club was treated to stories by Martin Horler. The Mendip Storyteller, installed in the storyteller’s chair with side table and a glass of whisky, enthralled his audience with stories of past times, involving revenge, riddles, honesty and fraud. He was thanked for a lovely, absorbing evening.

Anyone will be welcome to come along on Tuesday, 10th May when ‘Just Vince’ will be singing.
