Pioneering Bath-based theatre company, Kilter, are setting their stall outside the Victoria Hall, in Radstock, for some postal festivities this weekend.
From 2 p.m.– 8 p.m. on Saturday, join Great Aunt Sofya and Mrs (Penny) Black as they get crafty with Christmas cards. Kilter's Mobile Sorting Office is a bright red, converted Luton Lorry, decked out in a retro-chic style with countless undeliverable items of mail and rare postal accoutrements. Step inside, grab some glitter and glue and make a unique Christmas card! You can also find someone to write to, buy a bespoke stamp and actually send your Christmas cards from within the Mobile Sorting Office! Kilter's post-themed 'theatrics' were a huge hit at festivals throughout the summer.
Whilst this is all happening outside, the public are invited upstairs for the first time since renovations have begun. The paint will barely be dry, with work only due for completion this Friday, prior to the market on Saturday. With over forty stalls, this festive craft market has something for everyone. The market is open this Saturday, 30th November, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
