Timsbury Art Group Members will be having a busy time over the next few weeks. They enjoyed a demonstration at the end of May, when Kate Cochrane, from Frome, showed us how to tackle a landscape picture using acrylics in an unconventional approach.
Carol Kibble is booked for a workshop using Pastels next month and members will be exhibiting at the Timsbury Fun Day later the same week.
The Annual Exhibition will be taking place at Wells Cathedral for two weeks in July. This year, they are joining forces with the Jesmarie Painters, from Wells for a combined exhibition.
The group, which is a ‘Self-Help’ Group, is growing, with new members keen to join. They meet weekly during term time for a painting session using a variety of media.
